The ▪Past
(The History of the World)_______________________________________ The World has seen many heroes rise and fall in its many centuries. The World has also seen the fall of all heroes. Centuries ago yet still fresh in the history of man a massive war of Cataclysm. Man unleashed all of their cruelty among one another and a nuclear war was wages. The World was scorched. Lives were lost and civilizations destroyed. All was not lost however. Man as he has has done since his birth weathered the storm, survived and persevered and re-emerged. The World was rampant with radiation from the past war. The radiation killed off most humans while others were able to live despite the harsh world that was left to them. With most of modern technology lost man was forced to rebuild. Miraculously most of the worlds water survived the nuclear war and man returned to the old methods of using steam as energy. The Steam industry boomed as civilization slowly blossomed into the giant it once was. Three countries were built with different ideals. The military state of Kavesdra. The liberal nation, Cerise and lastly the island country of Aeda. However the cruelty of human being once again reared it's head as the discovery of human beings with special powers were born. It wasn't long before they were labeled as deviants and outcasts. Many Deviants were persecuted and killed merely because they had abilities deemed to dangerous for human kind. Cerise was the only nation to think otherwise but was outnumbered by its allies. This stance against deviants soon changed after the nation of Kavesdra was plagued by the emergence of Dragons from within the very mountains the nation was built on. The existence of dragons was nothing new to the world as fossils of their remains were plentiful in Kavesdra. However the creatures were always thought to have been long extinct from either millenia before or due to the nuclear War. Kavesdra's heavy military background led to many desperate ventures in R&D. The other nations also sought to strengthen their might and help combat this common enemy. The first of which were special OP's unit Titan from Cerise. A military unit of Deviants that were trained to combat dragons. After the founding of Titan, Aeda turned to Arcane texts and experimented with for decades. The texts gave birth to Augury and Aeda's venture into the war against the Dragons. Finally Kavesdra developed Skyships, the first form of aircrafts made since Mankind's fall from grace. The combined efforts of the the nations was barely enough to combat and drive the Dragons into extinction. In the waning moments of unity the nations of Aeda and Kavesdra loosened up their stances against Deviants and most persecution stopped however strict laws and even racism still exists in all nations.
