Roughdraft, subject to change if you see something wrong just change it. Ideally these would be separate posts. Images are obviously tentative.
Archetypes
Paragons
The 'average joes', Paragons are humans that lack any special traits. Most Paragons get by on pure cleverness and hard work. Because there are more humans than anything else, Paragons tend to get higher levels of training, education and weaponry than other archetypes. These are the most balanced, and have the ability to augment their physical abilities with technology. Paragons often have the benefit of a diverse formal training, and depending on nation tend to become soldiers, and really on armor and weaponry. Paragons are most commonly duelist or engineers.
Acolytes

Magical adepts, these are people born with a predisposition to sorcery. Most acolytes are found by Aeda's orders at a young age, and taken to be trained. Because of how much effort goes into preparing themselves intellectually, many acolytes are underdeveloped physically and tend not to be the greatest athletes. However these people make the best sorcerers by far and often are adept with various types of technology as well. Acolytes are most commonly sorcerers or engineers.
Deviants
The only separate 'race' in the world, deviants are humans who have undergone mutations on the genetic level due to exposure to radiation, and have gained access to a unique power or ability. While the original generation of Deviants were persecuted, hunting down and feared, their children (deviants themselves) are more accepted by at least some societies. Deviants are usually born from one or two deviant parents, though sometimes the mutation still occurs randomly in children, or during exposure to specific levels of radiation in adults. Due to society they tend to be particularly efficient with technology or weapons since it's rare deviants receive a formal education, and it is currently forbidden for Deviants to learn sorcery. Deviants are most commonly duelists or rogues.
